We are currently seeking a Paraplanner Trainee to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier wealth management.
Position Summary:
As a Paraplanner at Trainee at McFee Financial Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our Team of Wealth Managers and ensuring the successful delivery of customized financial solutions to our clients. This role involves a combination of administrative and problem solving skills, and it is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about serving our families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional client service and build strong intergenerational relationships
- Prepare Client Family meetings 4-8 weeks in advance according to our quarterly schedule of events
- Retrieve, document and summarize beneficiary and estate plans on file
- Coordinate with professional partners relating to tax and legal items for client families
- Gather information and expand life insurance planning, long-term care options, and other insurance held in-house or outside our firm.
- Strategize tax efficient distributions and trading with Wealth Managers.
- Research Investment Strategies with Wealth Management Team.
- Generating Family Wealth Plans using MoneyGuidePro
- Consider Charitable & Family gifting strategies with Wealth Managers
- Organize Generational and Legacy planning with Wealth Managers
- Monitor McFee proprietary Investment Models
- Use Morningstar Principia for further customization
- Gather information on Employer Benefits, Stock Options, RSU and ESPP grants, exercise and sales with Wealth Managers
- Report activity, communications and service processing progress via WealthBox (our CRM)
- Complete DocuSign documents for account openings, transfers and service items
- Stay current with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or financial planning
- Strong interest in financial planning concepts, investment products, and industry regulations
- Detail oriented communication and orderly writing skills
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the financial services industry is a plus
- Preferred but not required Industry licenses Series 7 and Series 66. Life license. And certifications like CFP (Certified Financial Planner).
